What to Expect

What to Expect

We’re glad that you’re checking out Center Pointe and want to let you know a little bit about what to expect when you visit on a Sunday morning. We hope that you will find this is a place and a group of people with whom you can feel at home!

When you arrive at our location (Centerburg Old High School/Administrative Building), park in the main parking lot off of South Preston Street. Just follow the Center Pointe signs to the nearest front entrance. Our greeters will be there to welcome you and answer any initial questions you have, as well as provide you with our weekly “Queue” (bulletin) full of the latest news and events at Center Pointe.

Here’s a quick tour:

Our gatherings are like a weekly family reunion. We dress casually, chat over a cup of coffee, and seek to worship God in a genuine and uplifting way. Sing along with our band, pray with us, and participate in a weekly message. More often than not, we’ll dismiss around 11:30am.

If you have children, you can stop at the Kids Pointe registration table to check them in. Nursery-age children (Birth – PreK) can be taken to the classroom at the end of the hall, while the Elementary kids (Kindergarden – 5th grade) will be dismissed with their teachers to their classroom during the Worship Gathering. They meet just across the hall from the auditorium.

At Center Pointe you can expect a casual atmosphere, hot coffee, and friendly people who desire to center their lives on Jesus. We know we’re all in process and no one is perfect. We want to invite you on this journey with us!

We hope to see you this Sunday at 10am!
